With a very good Hint that the summer will in face be HIS (and me actually believing it), I think the summer is ready for some new music from Rapper Young Jeezy.
After dropping a new single last night Titled "Me Ok", Jezzy announced that their will be a new album on the way. Although there hasn't been an official Release Date,a title has been dropped "Seen it All" will be the new album set to release. The DJ Greg Street produced project will be a reference to everything Jeezy has gone through on this journey to this point. I guess we will just have to be satisfied with this new music he's dropping. I'm really hoping there will be more coming soon. With the new track "Draft Day" which was dedicated to Sports in a sense, Rapper Drake has dropped another track today. "Days in the East" is no different from any other emotional track we've gotten from Drake. The beauty in Drake's Music is that in a way we get to live vicariously through him with the stories he tells. From his Mom to his Dad even to Erykah Badu!!!!. He mentions how the singer made him Tea and talked to him about Love. This latest track has actually been performed on His #WYLAT Tour at his Birmingham, England show.
Another Detail that I notice is Drake is the KANG of mashing up many other songs in One. Take a listen to Drake's "Days in the East" Produced by PARTY NEXT DOOR and "40" Below and if you listen closely you can definitely hear a snippet of a Hit Song called "Stay" By a Dope Artist he may or MAY be in a relationship with. AWWWWWW. What do you guys think, Is he talking about BAD GAL RIRI!!!!
I know myself along with the rest of the R&B World was completely shocked when Singer/Songwriter Jazmine Sullivan announced three years ago that she was taking a hiatus from Music as well as the music Industry. According to MSN, the album Titled "Xscape" will be released May 13th of this year. Super Producer Timbaland served as the lead Producer. The album also has 8 new unheard tracks. DOPE.
