So many rumors have been surfacing from everywhere about an upcoming biopic for the late great singer/actress Aaliyah. Aaliyah who passed 13 years ago definitely deserves to have her story displayed in a film. The Biopic is set to air on VH1 this year and Casting for the Late singer has already begun. Rumor has it Producers are tapping Eddie Murphy's daughter Bria
for the part. Years ago it was stated that 106&Park Host Keisha-Chante was set to play the role (Which she actually has a striking resemblance too). If and when this does air. I'm hoping that Aaliyah's Immediate Family has a say so in this decision. Whoever plays her has to capture the one thing that her only her family would see in someone else. Which is her sparkling spirit. I know this story will touch a lot of her fans and it will probably rub some people the wrong way. Either way this is long overdue. Stay Tuned.
